PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY MAKES TWO CHANGES
 TO 2007 SCHEDULE!

The original schedule had the five divisions of PASSCAR (Late Models, Super Stocks, Street Stocks, Modifieds and Cruisers) opening the Riverside County clay oval's 12^th season on February 3^rd with the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars making their first appearance on February 10^th. However, Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, Arizona will be staging a triple-header in memory of the great Roger McCluskey on February 9-10. The triple-header will include the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, Silver Crown Cars and the National and Western Midgets.

"USAC asked if we could switch the February dates and it is no problem," PAS promoter Don Kazarian said on Tuesday morning. "The Roger McCluskey event over there will be a great show. We will be hosting the USAC/CRA season opener on Super Bowl weekend. Even though we are the home track for the series, this will only be the second time we have hosted the season opener. We are going to pump it up."

The second change in the schedule came at the request of Western Allstars Super Late Model headman Chris Kearns. "The Allstars have one of the their biggest events of the season, the Gary Jacob Memorial Firecracker 50, in Hanford on June 30^th. Chris asked if we could move our Late Model portion of the show scheduled for the same night to another date. We are more than happy to do so. Chris has done a great job in a short time with the Western Allstars and has taken Late Model racing in California to a new level," Kazarian said.

To accommodate the Late Model switch to June 16^th, Kazarian canceled the Super Stock portion of that show. The Super Stocks will now replace the Late Models on the June 30^th program.
