PERRIS CITIZENS FREE AND TATTOOS GET A DISCOUNT
AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAY!

(JULY 22, 2008, PERRIS, CALIFORNIA) Do you have a tattoo? If you do, you have a good reason to be at Don Kazarian’s famous Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday night. And, if you live in the city of Perris, you have an even better reason. This Saturday night, July 26th, The PAS will host its annual Tattoo Night. Any fan who shows a tattoo at the ticket window will get in for just $5.00. Citizens of Perris can show a valid id at the ticket window and get in for free. The Extreme Late Models, MC Painting & Construction Super Stocks, PASSCAR Street Stocks and Pick-A-Part Factory Stocks will supply the action with the first race at 6:30 PM. Spectator gates will open at 5:00.

“We have hosted Tattoo Night for quite a few years,” promoter Kazarian stated on Tuesday morning. “It is very popular and it gives fans a discount on their admission price. That is important at a time when gasoline is over $4.00 a gallon. We are also extending a free ticket to anyone who lives in Perris. We want to expose them to our brand of racing and family fun. The area around the track has grown like crazy and we want the citizens to know they can be entertained locally on a Saturday night rather than driving a long distance and having the price of gasoline eat up a significant portion of their entertainment dollars.”

Kazarian wants everyone to know there is one important rule about Tattoo Night. “The tattoo has to be one that can be seen in public,” he said with a laugh. “My employees are not going to hold up blankets around someone to check out a tattoo. That is not going to happen.”

Super hot Mike Kirby of Torrance will head the Extreme Late Model field when the cars take to the track on Saturday. The former Sprint Car racing star and 1980s Ascot Figure 8 Champion sits on top of the point heap heading into this Saturday’s 25-lap main event. Bill Bartels of Marina Del Rey and Murrieta’s Jeff Dunham are his closest pursuers in the fight for the 2008 crown.

Speaking of former Sprint Car drivers, Chad Jones of Temecula, who spent some time in the open wheel cars during the SCRA days at The PAS, will be looking for his second win in a row in the MC Painting & Contracting Super Stocks. Jones drives the familiar Jerry & Pam Dodd #98 formerly wheeled by past PAS champion Linney White.

Rounding out Saturday’s quadruple header show will be the PASSCAR Street Stocks and the Pick-A-Part Factory Stocks.

Saturday’s four division act of daring dirt driving will include qualifying for the Late Models, and heats and main events for all of the divisions. Oh yeah, the show will also include tons of family fun and entertainment. And, don’t forget the weekly PAS Dance Contest at intermission with prizes for the best dancers 12 and under.
