FIGURE 8 RACING, DEMO CROSS & DEMO DERBY
AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY SATURDAY!

(Perris, CA, September 6, 2011) A longtime Southern California version of "Motorized Mayhem," Figure 8 racing on dirt, will return to Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday, September 10th, as part of final "Night of Destruction" of 2011. Saturday's "Bumper Bustin'" show will feature an open Figure 8 race, Figure 8 Trailer racing, a Demolition Derby and Demo Cross. Tickets for Saturday's fun event are priced at $9.00 for adults. Active military members with proper id, teens 13-18 with their school id and kids 6-12 will all get in for just $5.00. Children under 5 will be admitted free.

As it did at Ascot many years ago, the "X" in the middle of the infield will be where fans focus their attention as daring drivers hope to avoid contact as they crisscross their way to the checkered flag. This will be the third Figure 8 of 2011 at The PAS and it may become a regular part of the PASSCAR shows for 2012.

The Trailer Figure 8 race has one basic rule. The competing car or truck has to be pulling a trailer with something on it like a boat or pulling a camper. A car has to have his trailer/camper attached at the end of the race to be eligible for the win.

In addition to the Figure 8 races, Saturday's program will include a Demo Cross and an Iron Man Outlaw Demolition Derby. Demo Cross, which has no rules, will be contested around the track's inner quarter mile oval and will include some extra Whoop-De-Dos and obstacles. In Demo Cross, if a driver wants to go the wrong way on the track to take out another driver or wait for another driver to take him out, it is all legal. The fans were roaring the last time it was at The PAS and there should be more of the same crowd pleasing action again on Saturday.

Rounding out Saturday's show will be the Iron Man Outlaw Demolition Derby. This is not your average Demolition Derby as cars can be reinforced so they are virtual tanks. The impacts in Iron Man Outlaw are fierce and breathtaking to say the least.
