(Perris, CA, October 25, 2011)
The 2011 champions of all four PASSCAR divisions will be crowned this Saturday night, October 29th, at Perris Auto Speedway. The Oil Twins Amsoil Street Stocks, Modifieds, Super Stocks, Pick-A-Part American Factory Stocks and the CDCRA Dwarf Cars will all be action. In addition, the 2nd Annual Oil Twins Amsoil Dominator Challenge will match Street Stocks vs Factory Stocks in a unique match race that combines both the half-mile and quarter mile tracks at the 15-year-old racing facility. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM and the first race will be at 5:30. Tickets are only $9.00 for adults. Active military members with proper id, teens 13-18 with their school id and kids 6-12 will all get in for just $5.00. Children under 5 will be admitted free.

Double points will be up for grabs on Saturday night to close the year. Mathematically none of the point leaders have a championship sewed up, but they all have one hand on the championship trophy. After missing the first main event of the year in the Street Stocks, Moreno Valley's Curtis Dietzsch has been as consistent as always and comes into Saturday's race with a 30-point lead over Perris teenager Dalton Everhart. If Dietzsch manages to hang on, it will be his fourth championship in the last five years.

Like Dietzsch, Alan Updyke is seeking his fourth PAS crown and his third in a row in the Modifieds. The Tustin driver has won five of the first seven main events of the year and holds commanding 57-point advantage over Ramona racer Dwayne Dalton as they prepare for the championship race.

In the Super Stocks, Joseph Altig, who resides in Imperial Beach, is 15-points ahead of two-time champion Chad Burns of Mira Loma. Burns has won four main events to Altig's one, but a couple of races plagued by mechanical ills have taken their toll on Burns run at the crown.

In the Pick-A-Part American Factory Stocks, Hemet's Keith Wood, who is rumored to be jumping up to the Street Stock class in 2012, has a comfortable 49-point lead over Moreno Valley's Stephanie Herbage. Wood has won four of the first seven races while Herbage has two wins including the last race on October 1st.

The Oil Twins Amsoil Dominator Challenge will combine the tracks 1/2 mile and 1/4 mile ovals and will pit Street Stocks against the Factory Stocks. Turns one and two will be on the tracks inner 1/4 mile oval and turns three and four will be on the famous half-mile. Drivers earned their tickets to race in the event by earning "Oil Twins Dominator" awards (by passing the most cars in a main event) throughout the season. The Street Stocks will be handicapped and have to start behind the Factory Stocks. Eligible for the race are Street Stock drivers Dietzsch, Everhart, Jim Rook, Michael Laney and Stephan Davies. Eligible for the Factory Stocks will be Wood, Steven "Bam Bam" Fangmeyer and rookie Brent DeBruyn. Ken McWilliams is eligible in both classes and will decide on Saturday which car to use. Defending race champion Mike Burkes Sr. is also eligible.

Another interesting part of Saturday's show will be Hesperia's Fred Kottman who will race in the Factory Stock Class. Last week Kottman won the chance to race via an auction on eBay. Kottman used to travel the country working on Sprint Cars and also was a part owner of a Sprint Car in the early 1970s. He has taken some laps on the California Speedway with the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

The PAS will close the 2011 season with the 16th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals featuring the Amsoil USAC/CRA and National Sprint Cars on November 3rd, 4th and 5th. In addition to the Oval Nationals preliminary on the 4th, the $10,000.00 to win "Legend's of Ascot Match Race" will also take place.

Fans who live more than 100 miles from The PAS will be able to watch live on PAS video site ( for just $4.99. Those within the 100-mile blackout area will be able to watch a complete replay "On Demand" a few days after the event.

K&N Filters will donate gift certificates of $100.00, $50.00 and $25.00 to the top three finishers in the four PASSCAR sanctioned main events. The driver who passes the most cars on the Street Stock main will get a $50.00 Oil Twins Dominator gift certificate and the car that passes the most in the Factory Stock main will get a $25.00 Oil Twins Dominator gift certificate. Each of those drivers will get an automatic entry into the Oil Twins Challenge on October 29th.

If the Street Stocks, Super Stocks or Modifieds have fields of 24 cars, the main event winner of the class (s) will take home $1,000.00. All PASSCAR purses are posted on the Perris Auto Speedway web site at:

Saturday's door handle to door handle night of racing will include heat races and main events for all classes.
