By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, March 16, 2018) With more rain hitting the already saturated Perris Auto Speedway tonight and tomorrow morning and the unseasonable cold temperatures, promoter Don Kazarian has canceled Saturday’s LKQ Pick Your Part “Night of Destruction.” “Once again with the unseasonable cold weather and the forecast for more rain tonight and tomorrow, the Night of Destruction event scheduled for Saturday night March 17th has been cancelled,” Kazarian said. “In our 23 year history, this is the first time the entire month of March has been washed out! This decision has been made for the safety of our Race Teams and our Race Fans as the facility has received significant amounts of rain in the past week. Believe me, no one wants to race more than the Staff at Perris Auto Speedway. We look forward to resuming the Night of Destruction Series Presented by LKQ Pick Your Part on April 28th.” Next up at The PAS will be the PASSCAR Stock Car Series and IMCA Modifieds on April 14th followed by the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Cars on April 21st.
