WEATHER WINS AGAIN – SATURDAY’S PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY RACE POSTPONED!   By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, March 7, 2019) Due to Wednesday’s heavy rains and the previous rains over the past couple of weeks, this Saturday’s (March 9th) season-opening doubleheader for the PASSCAR Stock Series and IMCA Modifieds has been postponed. One of the rained-out races will be rescheduled for April 20th and the other will be made up on November 16th. “For the safety of our race fans and participants the scheduled event on Saturday, March 9th has been canceled due to the saturated conditions from all the storms in the past few weeks and the possibility of more rain on Friday,” promoter Don Kazarian said. “The first race of the PASSCAR Series and IMCA Modifieds will now be on April 20th. This is a new date on the schedule due to the Fairgrounds releasing the date from a previous scheduled event. In addition, to complete the PASSCAR Series and Modifieds, the season will now conclude on November 16th with the “PASSCAR Champions Night.” It is important to all of us at the Speedway to ensure the teams get a full and complete season of racing. Hopefully, all teams will be able to adjust to the changes in the schedule. We will see everyone on April 20th when the weather should be warmer and dry!” The next race day on The PAS schedule is March 30th featuring the So Cal Showdown featuring the NOS Energy Drink World Of Outlaws and the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars.
