KIDS IN LITTLE LEAGUE AND SCOUT UNIFORMS
GET IN FREE AT SATURDAY’S PERRIS RACE!

									  By Scott
									  Daloisio

									  (Perris, CA, June 11, 2019)
All kids wearing little league or scout
uniforms will be admitted free to this
									  Saturday’s PASSCAR/IMCA race at Perris
Auto Speedway. At intermission, the kids
will be let onto the front straightaway of
the track to collect candy from all the
drivers. Spectator gates will open at 5:00
P.M. and the first race will begin at
									  7:00.

									  (attached
photos of Modified point leader Bradley
Morris and kids collecting candy from the
drivers are courtesy of Doug Allen)

									  “The kids
always have a great time at the races,”
promoter Don Kazarian said. “Especially on
nights like this when they get to go on
the track at intermission, meet all of the
drivers and collect some candy as well. We
hope to see a lot of them get in for free
by wearing their boy scout, girl scout,
cub scout, brownie or little league
uniform. Bring the troop, team, or whole
neighborhood. The more the merrier and the
									  more the fun.”

									  As soon as the
last preliminary race is over, all the
drivers will bring their cars onto the
front straightaway and all kids, whether
they are wearing a uniform or not, will be
allowed onto the track to collect candy,
get autographs and take photos. At the end
of intermission, all the kids will go back
into the stands to watch the main events.

									  Four divisions
will be racing on the famous Riverside
County half-mile clay oval on Saturday.
The PASSCAR Super Stocks, Street Stocks,
American Factory Stocks and the IMCA
Modifieds. Through the first two races of
the 2019 campaign, the Modifieds, Street
Stocks and Factory Stocks have all seen
increased car counts. The Modifieds have
featured strong, competitive fields of 26
									  and 23 cars.

									  The first two
Modified main events of the year have been
won by Riverside’s Justin Dunn and Robbie
									  Sawyer of Bakersfield. Five-time track
champion Luke Dodd of Riverside and his
									  arch-rival and one time-champ Blaine
Whitson of Temecula, have split the wins
in the first two Street Stock races. Tom
“Slick” Smith of Norco, a past Modified
and Street Stock champ at The PAS, has won
both of the Super Stock mains. Anaheim
driver Darren Meyers and Jason Cook of
Hemet have taken home the first-place
									  trophies in the Factory Stocks.

									  Bradley Morris
of Romoland, a regular in the Lucas Oil
Off Road Series, leads Stanton’s Steven
Fangmeyer by three-points in the PAS/IMCA
									  Modified standings. Whitson has a
one-point advantage over Dodd in the
Street Stocks. In the Factory Stocks,
Myers is two-points ahead of Cook. The
biggest advantage for any driver in the
standings belongs to Smith in the Super
Stocks. He is nine-points clear of
									  Riverside’s Fred Estrada.

									  All cars will
contest heat races and main events on
Saturday night. Also, if applicable, they
									  will race B mains.

									  Tickets for
Saturday’s race are $15.00 for adults. For
active military members with proper id and
their spouse or date, it is $5.00 each.
Teens 13-18 with their school id and kids
6-12 get in for $5.00. Children 5 and
under are free. Parking on the fairgrounds
									  is $8.00.

									  Camping on the
fairgrounds opens at noon on Friday.
Tailgating on the grassy area outside of
turn four begins at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday.

									  Advance

events are available 24-hours a day online
									  at https://bit.ly/2Aa50Lj or by calling
