PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY PASSCAR/IMCA OPENER PUSHED BACK TO APRIL 17! By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, April 2, 2021) Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian has announced that the “Grand Reopening” for the PASSCAR Super Stock, Street Stock, American Factory Stocks and IMCA Modifieds has been pushed back to April 17th. The race, which was slated to take place on April 10th, is being moved back due to make sure the facility is completely COVID-19 compliant. “We are moving the opener from April 10th to April 17th,” Kazarian said from his office on Friday. “We are doing this in order to ensure the facility is in compliance with COVID-19 guidance requirements for outdoor seated live events and performances.” The opener will be the first night of the increased purse that will be paying $1,500.00 to win both the Super Stock and Modified main events. The Street Stocks will be racing for a $1,000.00 winner’s purse and the American Factory Stocks will be competing for a $500.00 first place check. All main events will be 25-laps.
