RACING RETURNS TO PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY AUGUST 13th By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, July 5, 2022) Perris Auto Speedway will take a summer break starting this Saturday night, July 9th, and running through the second week in August. The busy second half of the track’s 26th season will commence when LKQ Pick Your Part Presents Night of Destruction 6 on August 13th. One week later, the famous Riverside County half-mile clay oval will host the annual California Racer’s Hall of Fame Night featuring the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, and the PAS Senior & Young Gun Sprints. That program will include the $2,000.00 to win Junior Kurtz/Bill Simpson Trophy Dash for the USAC/CRA cars. They will also be competing for $800.00 for the fastest qualifier and an additional $400.00 if that fast time breaks the track record. The following week, the PASSCAR/IMCA Stock Car show returns to the track. Advance tickets for all Perris Auto Speedway events, including this Saturday, are on sale now.
