SATURDAY’S NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION CANCELED – NEXT RACE IS SOKOLA SHOOTOUT MARCH 18 By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, March 10, 2022) Due a late Friday afternoon heavy downpour and more predicted rain, Saturday’s LKQ Pick Your Part Night of Destruction has been canceled. For fans who bought tickets in advance on tix.com, they can be used at the April 22nd Night of Destruction. The season opener will now be next Saturday night, March 18, when the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars headline the annual Sokola Shootout. The PAS Senior and Young Gun Sprints, PASSCAR Super Stocks and Street Stocks will also be in action. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 p.m. with racing at 7:00. We hope to see all of you there. Perris Auto Speedway is conveniently located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of the Southern California Fair), one-hour east of Los Angeles and one-hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway, and go three miles east to the fairgrounds.
