RACING RETURNS TO PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY ON May 20th By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, May 1, 2022) Perris Auto Speedway will take the next two weeks off before returning to action on May 20th. After its record number of entries (81) on April 22nd, LKQ Pick Your Part will present Night of Destruction featuring daring figure 8 racing, no holds barred demo cross, wild mini stock figure 8s, mini stock road racing, and the crowd favorite zany double deckers on the 20th. One week later on May 27th, Heimark Distributors/Anheuser Busch will present the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars in the Annual Salute to Indy. The POWRi Southwest Lightning Sprints, PAS Senior & Young Gun Sprints, and the PASSCAR Super Stocks will also be part of the Memorial Day Weekend Show. The PASSCAR/IMCA Stock Car program will return on June 17th. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 p.m. for each show with racing at 7:00. Advanced tickets for every race at The PAS are available until noon on race day at https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/pas/7 or by calling 1-800-595-4849. For fans who do not wish to buy advance tickets, there will be plenty available for everyone at the ticket window each race night. Perris Auto Speedway is conveniently located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of the Southern California Fair), one-hour east of Los Angeles and one-hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway, and go three miles east to the fairgrounds.
