FIREWORKS AND NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION THIS SATURDAY AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, June 25, 2024) For the first time since 2022, Perris Auto Speedway will host the best fireworks show and sky concert in Riverside County this Saturday night, June 29th. In addition to the great aerial display put on by the renowned Pyro Spectaculars, there will be a full Night of Destruction presented by LKQ Pick Your Part. All of the fun will begin at 5:00 PM when the spectator gates open, and the first 1000 fans will receive a free hot dog coupon and a free American flag courtesy of Perris Auto Speedway. The first race of the night will take place at 7:00 PM, and the first crash will be about 30 seconds later. “We are extremely happy to be hosting our fireworks sky concert, produced by Pyro Spectaculars, for the first time since 2022,” promoter Don Kazarian said. “For years, it has been our biggest show. Not only is it about fireworks, but it also includes the “Craziest Show On Dirt,” Night of Destruction. The Night of Destruction portion of Saturday’s program will include daring Figure 8 Racing, a wild Figure 8 Trailer race, no-holds-barred Demo Cross, the rough and tumble Mighty Mini Stocks on a challenging road course, and, of course, the fan favorite Double Deckers. “Night of Destruction is a wild show,” Kazarian stated. “Besides safety, the only other rule is there is no hitting in the driver’s door. Other than that, you can wreck other cars, spin them out or slow them down. Caution flags are non-existent. The only times you will see a red flag are in the case of driver safety, there is a fire, or a car has flipped. Other than that, the only flags normally used are the green, the white, and the checkered.” One tradition of the Independence Day show is fans receiving free American flags. On Saturday, the first 1,000 fans will receive an American flag and a coupon for a free hot dog at the concession stand. “We like honoring the country with a big show like we are having,” the longtime promoter continued. “Fireworks, hot dogs, American flags, good dirt track racing, and celebrating our nation’s birthday is a long tradition at Perris Auto Speedway. It will be a fast-paced show that should take about three hours. We always strive to have fans come out, have a good time, and be on their way home at a decent time. We hope everyone comes out and enjoys watching the racing and fireworks, and then spends the 4th with family and friends at a picnic, the beach, or barbecuing at home.” Fans who would like to attend the show can save money by purchasing tickets in advance. By using the following link or by calling 1-800-595-4849, they can purchase adult tickets for $25.00 and tickets for kids 6-12 for $5.00. For fans who do not wish to buy tickets in advance, there will be plenty available at the ticket window on Saturday night. Tickets purchased at the track on Saturday will cost $30.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids 6-12. As always, children five and under are admitted free. The fairgrounds charge $10.00 for parking. The PAS is conveniently located on the freeway close Lake Perris Fairgrounds, home of the Southern California Fair, in nearby Riverside County. Take the 215 freeway.
