MOTHER NATURE LASHED OUT AGAIN FORCING POSTPONMENT OF SATURDAY’S NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY – MAKEUP DATE SET FOR AUGUST 30 By Scott Daloisio (Perris, CA, March 13, 2025) Mother Nature strikes again! For the second time in four races in 2025, she unleashed her wrath with heavy rains overnight that continued into this morning. The deluge has left the infield of the track looking like a tributary of the Mississippi River, thus forcing postponement of this Saturday’s Night of Destruction presented by LKQ Pick Your Part. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 30th. “Mother Nature wins again,” track promoter Don Kazarian lamented during a Thursday morning staff meeting as rain pounded down on the track office. “It poured all night and is pouring again now. The infield looks like a lake you could fish for bass on. With a predicted high temperature of 50 today, 47 tomorrow, and a 65% chance of rain tomorrow, there is no way we can get things dried out for Saturday. I have talked to the fairgrounds and we have rescheduled the event for August 30th.
