USAC/CRA SPRINT CARS ADDED TO WORLD OF OUTLAWS SHOW; SCHEDULE UPDATES By Scott Daloisio PERRIS, CA (May 30, 2025) – Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian has announced a major update to the 2025 schedule. The Avanti Windows and Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Cars have been added to the September 13th World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars event. In addition, the fan-favorite LKQ Pick Your Part Night of Destruction has been given an end-of-the-season show on November 15th. At the same time, Kazarian sadly confirmed the immediate discontinuation of The PAS Senior and Young Gun Sprint Car Series due to declining participation. Originally scheduled to appear on September 6th, the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars have been rescheduled to join the World of Outlaws event the following week. The September 6th date is now a TBA, with updates expected soon. "We are pleased to add the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars to the World of Outlaws show," said Kazarian. "It will supply fans with two of the best forms of dirt track racing—the fastest dirt track sprint cars in the world and the thrilling, back-it-in style of the USAC/CRA Series." The September 13th show will mark the 23rd World of Outlaws appearance at Perris, dating back to Mark Kinser’s win on November 1, 1996. The series last visited the Riverside County half mile on March 26, 2022, with David Gravel taking the victory. In the first 22 appearances at The PAS: Mark Kinser leads with seven wins (the first seven WoO races at the track) Daryn Pittman follows with three victories David Gravel, Danny Lasoski, and Joey Saldana each have two Aaron Reutzel, Paul McMahan, Kerry Madsen, Jason Myers, Craig Dollansky, and Johnny Herrera have each won once Notably, World of Outlaws legends Steve Kinser, Donny Schatz, and Sammy Swindell never reached Victory Lane at Perris. Kazarian also announced the addition of the November 15th Night of Destruction, a staple event that has grown in popularity each season. “It will be a fitting way to end our 29th season,” he said. “Night of Destruction shows have become wildly popular across the country, and Perris is no exception. It’s our most popular event and appeals especially to families with young children —the future of our crowds.” In more somber news, Kazarian confirmed that The PAS Senior and Young Gun Sprint Car Series will be discontinued for the remainder of 2025. “I have decided to cancel the remaining PAS Senior and Young Gun Sprint Cars for 2025 because of the lack of participation,” said Kazarian. Introduced in 2013, the classes have seen steadily decreasing car counts. This season, the Senior Sprints fielded five cars on opening night and only four on each of the following two events. The Young Guns started the year with one entry on opening night. At the second race, only two Young Guns entered, and none showed up last Saturday.
