Sprint Cars, Stock Cars, Bicycle Giveaways, and Jimmy Oskie Meet & Greet This Saturday at Perris Auto Speedway By Scott Daloisio Perris, California — June 17, 2026 — After one week off, Perris Auto Speedway roars back into action this Saturday, June 20th, when Heimark Distributors Anheuser-Busch presents the return of the Avanti Windows and Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Cars along with the PASSCAR Super Stocks, Street Stocks, and American Factory Stocks. In addition to the exciting racing action on the famous Riverside County half-mile clay oval, three kids’ bicycles will be given away to lucky young fans, and five-time CRA Sprint Car Champion and National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Jimmy Oskie will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs, and pose for photos before the races. “It is going to be a fun night,” promoter Don Kazarian said. “Four classes of racing, kids dance battle, T-shirt launches, heat race hero’s contest where fans can win tickets to upcoming races will all be part of the show, and we are giving away more bicycles. There is something for everyone.” For the bicycle giveaways, every fan entering the track will receive a raffle ticket. Immediately following the Kids Dance Battle at intermission, three lucky tickets will be drawn, and each winner will take home a brand-new kids’ bicycle. If the fun for the kids, bicycle giveaways, and thrilling racing action are not enough, fans will also have the opportunity to meet one of the all-time greats in West Coast sprint car racing history, Jimmy Oskie, before the races. Thanks to USAC/CRA publicist Lance Jennings, Jimmy Oskie will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs,” Kazarian stated. “The original CRA began just after World War II. It eventually morphed into the SCRA and now into USAC/CRA. In all those years, Jimmy has been one of the greatest drivers on the West Coast. On top of that, he is a super person who loves talking to people. We hope a lot of fans come out early to meet him. Joining the headline USAC/CRA Sprint Cars on the racing portion of the program, the PASSCAR Super Stocks will be the fastest of the three Stock Car divisions competing on the night. Victorville’s Rick Arringdale, who captured PAS championships in 1999 and 2001, returned as a regular competitor last season and currently sits atop the standings. Temecula’s Blaine Whitson, a multi-time division champion at The PAS, is only two points behind the leader. Sitting third, just six points out of first, is Glen Avon’s “Hot Rod” John Caley. Beaumont’s Steven Welch and second-generation racer George Leventis complete the top five. Yorba Linda’s Chad Mahony leads the Street Stock championship chase over Leventis. Riverside’s Morgan Rowlan holds down the third position. Two-time champion Sean Estes of Riverside, who captured last month’s $2,000-to-win special main event, is fourth, while season-opening winner Justin Dunn rounds out the top five. The American Factory Stock championship battle is already shaping up to be a slugfest. Ramona’s Andrew Schmitz holds a four-point advantage over 2023 champion Kris Carnish of Menifee. However, the fight throughout the top six is incredibly tight, with Carnish and sixth-place Joseph Pack of Menifee separated by only four points. Sandwiched between them are Jurupa Valley’s James Keller in third, along with three-time champion David Stites of Canyon Lake and Ramona’s Cameron Broe, who are tied for fourth. Spectator gates at the super-clean speed plant will open at 5:00 p.m., with racing at 7:00. Adult tickets are $30.00. Seniors 65 and over are $25.00. Students 13-17 with their school ID get in for $15.00. Kids ages 6-12 are $10.00, and children 5 and under are free. Active military members with proper ID get in for $5.00. Parking is $20.00.
